"Nutritional products for competitive athletes"

Exercise such as a marathon, ultramarathon or triathlon demands unusual amounts of energy. The biochemistry of energy production in the human body is well known to use many vitamins and minerals during such events. Vitamins and minerals are required for many of the catalysts that promote chemical reactions at body temperature.

Choline is needed to make the neurotransmitter acetylcholine, which is necessary for proper conduction of signals from the brain to muscles. Studies show that marathoners have improved performance with supplemental choline.

A few specific amino acids are needed for specialized reactions during exercise. Important hormones such as adrenaline contain the amino acid L-Tyrosine. Transport of fat for energy production requires the amino acid L-Carnitine. L-Arginine acts as a source of nitric oxide for improved blood flow to muscles.

Exercise produces large amounts of damaging free radicals when oxygen is consumed in large amounts while breathing. Vitamin C, vitamin E, beta carotene and alpha Lipoic Acid are natural anti-oxidant defenders.

How can an athlete obtain these useful nutrients before a run? They are present in nutritious food, but athletes often eat very lightly before an event, or may choose foods that are lacking in vitamins and minerals.

SUCCEED! PRE-RACE CAPS are selected to provide in a simple package the vitamins, minerals and other nutrients that are useful during long, hard exercise.

Directions for use:
Take one packet of capsules/caplets with about a half cup of water, sportsdrink or juice 20 to 60 minutes before the event so that they have time to be absorbed from the digestive tract. If you eat a light meal before the event, take the Caps right after your meal.

If your event lasts more than 15 hours, you may benefit by taking the Caps again after 12 to 15 hours.

It is well known that performance will suffer if essential vitamins or nutrients are in short supply during exercise. However, it is also well known that there is no ergogenic effect from excess amounts of vitamins or minerals. Do not exceed the dosage given in the Directions for Use.

Note: All of the nutrients provided in this product are found naturally within the human body. None of them are drugs or substances banned by the U.S.O.C., so it is safe to take them for any competition. See your physician if you have any questions about the appropriateness of this product for your use.
